Produce · what we print on
Cards in every material, and booklets
Match the substrate to the assurance level and the lifespan of the programme. Card bodies are printed and personalised on our own lines; passport and travel-document booklets are personalised on the data page to ICAO specification.
Polycarbonate
Laser-engraved, highest assurance. National ID and travel documents with a 10-year-plus service life.
PET
Durable and recyclable. A mid-life card for programmes balancing cost against field wear.
PVC
Cost-effective and fast to personalise on site — the usual choice for voter ID and short-cycle credentials.
Passport booklets
ICAO-compliant data pages, eMRTD chip encoding and booklet-level security for travel documents.
how it is produced
Personalisation that binds data to the document
Card and booklet printing
Retransfer and direct-to-card printing lay down high-resolution text, portraits and machine-readable fields to the document specification.
Laser engraving
On polycarbonate, data is engraved inside the card body — it cannot be lifted or altered without destroying the document.
Optical security
UV printing, holographic overlays and tamper-evident laminates make alteration detectable on sight, with no reader required.
Chip encoding
Demographic and biometric data is written to the secure element with the cryptographic keys required for authentication worldwide.
Quality control
Automated and visual checks confirm print clarity, correct data and successful encoding. Failed cards are logged, spoiled and reconciled.
Stock accountability
Every blank, issued and spoiled credential carries a serial number tied to the holder’s record, with stock alerts before a site runs dry.
controlled distribution
The last mile is where identity is won or lost

Central Production
National ID, travel and civil documents are produced in a secure facility under controlled, auditable conditions — high volume, consistent quality, the full range of security features, then released into controlled delivery.

Instant issuance in the field
For voter ID and similar programmes, the card is printed at the point of registration and handed over on the spot — the holder is already present and verified, so production and delivery collapse into one visit.
